During a foreclosure<\/a>, a home is repossessed by the bank and everyone living in the home is forced to leave. Obviously, this can be extremely upsetting and stressful. To many people, their home is truly their castle. It is where they feel comfortable and safe. However, a foreclosure<\/a> can disrupt many of the roots put down by taking the home away.<\/p>\n

Moving is difficult when someone chooses to move. However, when one is forced to move, it can be disruptive at best and absolutely devastating at worst. Commutes to jobs may become longer or more difficult, and people may be forced to change jobs that they love and are established at. Children may be forced to change schools, and may have to start all over with new teachers and classmates. Relationships created through the years among neighbors may crumble. It is clear that along with the physical changes, foreclosure may cause significant changes in professional, academic, and social relationships as well.<\/p>\n
